All groups welcome non-members except Shiawassee Trail Riders, Kensington Trail Riders (Milford Parades only) and Rose Oaks Equine Adventurers for mounted events.

 24, Sun. Fourth Annual Ride the Rose-Wildflower Poker Ride on the trails in Rose Oaks. (No road riding this year.) Rose Oaks is now open to horses every day. Fund raiser for Headwater Trails equestrian friendly trails. Registration is from 12 p.m-1:30 p.m.. Donation of $20 plus Oakland County Park Sticker $5 required. Last rider in at 3:30 p.m. Headwaters Trails will provide meat and drinks, each rider bring a dish to pass for the potluck from 3:30-5. Prizes will be awarded while we eat. Help Headwaters make things happen for equestrians.

29-Sept 1 Fri.-Mon.Waterloo Horsemen’s Association, Labor Day Campout, fun and potluck. Huron River Riders participate in this event.

12-14, Fri-Sun. Pontiac Lake Horseman’s Association, Tour the Trails Fun Weekend, $15 plus camping fees for the weekend. Friday night Cowboy Chili and moonlight ride, Saturday and Sunday Pancake Breakfasts, Saturday night pig roast and potluck with entertainment. Sunday games on horseback.
